Readers of my “Stress and Your Health” site over at reetaluthra.com know that I moved from the UK to Dubai a couple of years ago.
Since I arrived here, I’ve been involved in business mentoring. I have been helping a floundering steel company grow from the brink of bankruptcy to profitability and growth. The new environment and new culture meant that I’ve gone through so much personal growth myself during this time that I wonder I am not ten foot tall now.
Anyway, doing all that meant that I had to re-assess my priorities. But it was very difficult for me to cut the reetaluthra.com site loose and officially declare a break. So as with so many things without a plan, the inevitable happened – keeping my site updated became a “I’ll do it tomorrow” black hole.
But then something happened to that website recently. It was hacked or malfunctioned in some way and a large part of it got corrupted. I lost most of it and the only part still online was the blog. Amazingly I found that despite the core website no longer being there, something in the blog was still resonating with you. People continued to reach out, emailing me and posting comments on old articles.
As I have undergone so many new experiences and furthered my own personal development over the last few years, it seems appropriate to grab this opportunity to start anew. I have returned to my beloved Paradox of Reality domain with a message of self-empowerment for you.
I don’t coach full time any more. Instead I offer a limited number of spaces at any one time for personal coaching through individual 6 month training programs.
As always, I remain open to your feedback and thoughts on the type of information you’d like to see and invite you to contact me. I had tremendous feedback from the survey I had up previously and those ideas are all noted.
So, even though it took fate giving me a big prod in the form of the server malfunction, I am delighted to bring you this new version of the site. I hope you find something here that makes your day better!
Tip of the Day: Unlike me, if you need to start anew, do it on your terms rather than wait for something to get damaged before you do something about it.
Or if you are a mere mortal like me, just seize your opportunities when you recognise them!
