Setting Boundaries Should Not Feel This Evil

If you are polite and considerate, you are undoubtedly very good at respecting other people’s boundaries and rights. But how good are you at maintaining your own boundaries? I went on a course for the best part of a year at a facility where the...

Doing What Comes Naturally

One of my favourite stories from the Brothers Grimm is The Fisherman and his Wife. A poor fisherman helps an enchanted fish who grants him a wish in gratitude. He wishes for a house. His wife complains and makes him go back and exchange his wish for...

Is Your Identity a Game of Numbers?

Numbers hold a mysterious fascination – they tease and test the boundary between logic and illusion. Everyone knows bad luck broods in 13, good luck graces 7 and 3 simply swirls in magic. Lottery numbers can be predicted if you concentrate hard...

Embrace Life

Coming from the UK, I’ve been drip-fed driver safety information since as long as I can remember. Living in the UAE now, I see that the message still has to reach here. It is normal to see babies being bottle-fed on the lap of the driver, child...

How to Make Better Decisions

Decisions are choices we make throughout the day, every day. Everyone has times when decision making is difficult and causes a bit of stress, but occasional difficulty making decisions isn’t a major issue. The problem occurs when you find yourself co...

The Dream

Today, I’m dedicating this to writers who don’t write, gardeners who don’t plant and musicians who don’t play. May we all breathe into that part of ourselves that yearns to live. The Dream – by Mark Baker A man lay on hi...

I want to check in with you to find out if I am being as useful as I can be to you. There was a fantastic response to a similar survey I ran on my previous site (reetaluthra.com) and the information you gave me was invaluable . I want to continue the...

Are You Playing Pretend Normal?

Have you noticed how we only take certain things seriously when they go wrong on us or when we’ve clocked up enough years of wisdom-gathering? Matthew’s 18 years old. He drinks around 5 litres of coke every day, is as skinny as a rake and very ...

2013: Let India’s Braveheart Live On Through Us

My first post of the New Year is  a tribute to the woman in Delhi who died under the most awful circumstances. And also to the women and girls who have been victims to the gang-rape culture that continues in India even while India is under the glari...

The Emotional Storm of Forgiveness

When I ask a client if there is anyone they need to forgive, often the immediate answer is no. However, when we start our work together, there is almost always some resentment, anger, blame and even hate lying underneath. It’s no surprise to th...

Is Multi-Tasking Suffocating Your Potential?

Do you ever get the feeling that multi-tasking might be one of the unhappiest things you can do to yourself? A client call ran on longer than expected. After I had written up my notes, I switched on my links to the outside world – Outlook, the Blackb...

Self-empowerment is:

  • Acknowledging your weaknesses
  • Understanding your core values, especially the ones that are outdated but difficult to shake off
  • Setting Up Your Pieces to make Your Life the best game you ever play

There is no one alive who is youer than you

Stress occurs naturally and we all experience it and deal with it effectively on the whole.

Sometimes when stress internalises, it disempowers you. It cripples your thoughts and disturbs your behaviour and health.

Internalised stress often operates at a subconscious level so you may not even be aware why you are angry or moody or generally lethargic and unable to fulfil all your ambitions.

Through this site, I hope to challenge your assumptions and help you through the underlying stresses so you can achieve empowerment in all aspects of your life.

I invite you to browse – take part in the anonymous survey or feel free to drop me an email if there’s something on your mind.

To your success,

Reeta Pindoria

What Does Your Stress Say to You?

What does your stress say to you?

Stress lets you know that there’s something going on that needs attention. Ignore it and it shouts at you louder to take notice. Eventually, the effects can become physical. It is never too late to address the symptoms of stress, but prevention really is better than cure – so take [...] Read more »

Thoughts Create Reality

Thoughts Create Reality

A fundamental truth in life is that our thoughts determine how we actually behave and interact with others. And that when there is a battle between emotion and logic, emotion usually wins. There are days we feel top of the world. Others when misery won’t leave. We don’t want misery. [...] Read more »

Emotional Blocks to Success

Emotional blocks to success

Sometimes, giving up is the smart option. Other times, it’s driven by emotional resistance getting the upper hand. But emotional resistance does not have to be the brick wall it appears to be. These case studies illustrate the relationship between emotions and success. Giving up too soon? When attempts to [...] Read more »
